Process costs of ecological leather production can be optimised with the new degreasing agent BORRON^® DN from TFL. This high performing product is the ideal single surfactant solution for all wet processes in a tannery.

Because it is stable to electrolytes and most vegetable tanning agents this low foaming surfactant removes grease easily in all the leather making process steps. It has a very good soaking effect thus enhancing the penetration of subsequent processes leading to an improved lay-out and area yield.

In the meantime BORRON^® DN has a good cleaning effect because it carries dirt very well thus improving its removal. In liming the product helps to disperse lime thus supporting the opening-up of the hide.

This product is free of nonylphenol ethoxylates and more than 90% biodegradable by OECD standards.
